Dr. Hikmat Al-Baydani, head of the Baghdad International Film Festival, announced the second edition of the festival will be held from 15-21 September 2025 in Baghdad. Tunisia will be the guest of honor, featuring a selection of its latest cinematic productions. The festival will include competitions for feature and short Arab narrative films, documentaries, and animation, as well as workshops and masterclasses with prominent filmmakers from Iraq and the Arab world.
